In the depths of a large, haunted forest lies a small village. In this village, strange events have been occurring, people have gone missing; some found dead, others not found at all. You may think these people have gotten sick of being isolated from new people, new surroundings; but that?s not it. All the children and adults have grown up in this village together; never leaving into the forest in search for other civilization, afraid of getting lost in the darkness and never finding their way back again.
Everything had been normal before a large storm betided. Ever since then, people began to seclude themselves, taking on evil and cruel actions; such as devouring animals, scaring little children, and even murdering other citizens within the village. As a group of teenagers noticed close friends and family members begin falling into this state of evilness, realizing the impossibility of the sudden character change, they begin to investigate.
The investigations they bring about involve heading into this enchanted forest that lets in, but never let?s out, and taking risks they never would have before. Their suspicions conclude that there are creatures, or demons, that lurk in the forest, leading them to believe that somewhere in this forest is the heart of these creatures; a heart that if pierced into by one of these teenagers, can finally send these strange events into the grave, letting the village live in peace.
As they travel into the forest, they are followed and chased, by these creatures? No. What really controls the demon inside these troubled people, the ones committing these horrific crimes, is actually by the elders of the village. A betrayal they placed against their children, though it is only the oldest generation that take part in this heinous act. The children continue to investigate, finding obvious clues left behind from these elders, but not even realizing it was them. When they finally put all these clues together, they realize the possibility of it being these elderly folks (Whom range from age 50 years and older), and finally set up a trap to capture one of them in the act of cursing one of their children.
The fate of the village lies within the hands of these children, will they succeed, or will they forever be haunted?
